The Henry Warren Hall

The Canterbury Tales – performed by the Lion & Unicorn Players

Lion and Unicorn are back on tour with an adaptation of five of Geoffrey Chaucer’s Canterbury Tales.

Four alchemists and a ragtag bunch of actors try to revive the half-dead 14th century poet by performing some of his own stories in their own special way… Expect ridiculous props, singing chickens, bare bums, audience participation, kazoos and lots of laughter. It’s rude and it’s lewd: you’ll love it! Touring to Liss Village Hall, West Meon Village Hall, Nyewood Village Hall, Petersfield Museum and the Great Roundhouse at Butser Ancient Farm. Tickets are £12 for Monday to Thursday venues, and £15 at Butser Ancient Farm (Friday and Sat shows). Performances are at 7.30pm. There will be a paid bar at each venue.
